The campaign for the most influential political party in the Czech Republic, ANO 2011, will be spearheaded by its leader Andrej Babis. He confirmed in an interview in early September that he will not run himself, but will be involved, as the main topic of the upcoming EP election is the immigration crisis.

Dita Charanzová will head the list with fellow MEP Martina Dlabajova in 2nd place.

The most high-profile MEP from ANO Pavel Telicka will not run for re-election under the same party due to major disagreements with party leader Babis on migration, Eurozone and foreign policy issues. He now heads the list for the HLAS party with another former ANO MEP, Petr Jezek.

Current Czech Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality,  Vera Jourova, is likely to be nominated for a 2nd term as Commissioner but has said that she would not stand in the EP elections.
