S&D

The PSOE is the most popular party with 32.82% of the votes (7.3M votes) and 20 seats, an increase in 6 from 2014. This is an increase on last month’s general elections (always keeping in mind the different turnout rate) where the Socialists got 28.68% of the votes (7.4M). Thus, Spanish Socialists will be one of the biggest -if not the biggest – national delegations within the European social-democrat group .
